Our Staff team positively reflect a range of cultures and languages and are all qualified in childcare, most having achieved NVQ Levels 2 and 3.
Some staff have completed further training in an area of interest to them e.g. Communication and Language, Physical Play, Literacy & Creativity.
Staff run small group times to further engage children and develop well-being and self-esteem.
These include PALS, Playing and Learning to Socialise - Forest Schools - Attention and Listening - Musical Story
Children have Bookbags which they change weekly to then share with you at home.
All staff hold Food Safety and Paediatric First Aid along with an up to date Disclosure and Baring Service enhanced check [DBS]
We have two Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinators who work closely with children, their families and outside agencies to ensure any child with additional needs is supported fully within the setting.
All staff have a group of Key Children; they observe and track the children’s progress and development using the Early Years Foundation Stage document and form good relationships with Parents and Carers to ensure that by working together and sharing experiences each child is given the best start to their education.
